Who We Are

Texas Gas Transmission, LLC, is a bi-directional interstate natural gas pipeline that provides transportation and storage services.

Texas Gas transports natural gas from a variety of supply areas, including the Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus, and Utica shale plays; other basins via third-party pipelines; traditional wellhead supplies; and Gulf South’s Perryville Exchange. Deliveries are made to both on-system and off-system markets primarily in the Midwestern and South Central United States.

Our Operations

Texas Gas transports natural gas directly from supply areas in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas and indirectly from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Supply is transported to markets throughout the Midwestern and South Central United States.

Supply Sources:

  • Regional supply hubs and market centers, including Gulf South’s Perryville Exchange, Lebanon, Henry Hub, and Carthage
  • Shale plays including the Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus, and Utica shale plays
  • Conventional wellhead supplies in Louisiana and Texas

Markets Served:

  • Local distribution companies and utilities serving multiple communities, including the cities of Memphis, Louisville, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis
  • Direct-connect natural gas-fired power plants in Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio
  • Industrial end users in Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio
  • A liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the Louisiana Gulf Coast

Hubs Offered:

  • Perryville Exchange, in north Louisiana, offers a market center hub environment for producers, end-users, and marketers to transact with price transparency and liquidity
  • Access to active trading centers: Lebanon, Henry Hub, Carthage, and Transco 85
