Scholarship Program

To advance educational opportunities for local students, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP (Boardwalk), parent company of Texas Gas Transmission, LLC and Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP has initiated a scholarship program for those seniors who attend high schools located on property where Boardwalk operates its pipeline systems.  One eligible student from each school will receive a $1,000 scholarship.


Eligibility Requirements


  • 12th grade student at one of the qualifying high schools
  • Cannot be a child of an employee
  • Must maintain a 3.0 minimum grade point average on a 4.0 scale
  • Must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year college or university of the student's choice
  • Other considerations will be work experience, community service and student organizations and activities.


After November 1st, administrators of eligible schools will be notified that program information, application, and information regarding the scholarship program administrator, Scholarship America, is available on the Texas Gas website.


Online applications will be available on November 1, 2018 and must be submitted by February 12, 2019.  Award recipients will be notified within the month of April.  The scholarship will be awarded in the name of the student and payable to the college or university that the student will attend.
